SAFE-ON STIRRUPS
Safe-on stirrups are our safety stirrups. They are versatile and suitable for all riders and all disciplines. Their flexible arms release the foot in the event of a fall, thanks to a safety fuse. There’s also a junior version to suit the feet and weight of younger riders.
DESIGN AND CUSTOMISATION BY FLEX-ON
These stirrups were conceived by Flex-on and designed by Garrigos Design with singular, modern curves. They offer an infinite choice of customisation options:

COMFORT
The elastomers under the stirrup floor absorb shocks and reduce stress on the rider’s joints.
The spring steel frame provides additional comfort by also absorbing shocks.
The offset stirrup leathers make it easier to place the stirrups on the saddle.
IMPROVED PERFORMANCE
Grip and ultra-grip pads on the floorboard give the rider’s feet better grip.
The 11% slope of the floor provides ideal positioning for the rider’s leg.
A flat floor version is also available to meet the specific needs of each rider.
The staggered and off-set eyelets provide a better connection between your leg and your horse
SAFETY
Safety poles release the foot in the event of a fall. The release force is a minimum of 40 kilos, so the rider’s foot has to exert pressure on the leg for it to give way. You can then simply reposition the branch to get back on the horse if it has opened at the bottom. In some cases of falls, an additional safety device allows the limb to break at the top, in which case you can buy a new limb kit to replace them.
The advantage of the stirrup material is that it never breaks, but can be deformed or twisted in the event of a fall to limit potential injury to rider and horse.
An endurance cage can be added to prevent the foot slipping through the stirrup.
